Steve Gerber, R.I.P. - the creator of "Howard the Duck" and "Thundarr the Barbarian" passed away.  He was one of my favorite comic creators of the 70's, and made some darn good comics in the last decade as well.  I had the chance to interview him once.  A talented guy who was taken from us too early:
